Dr. Avery F. Browne, D.O
Dr. Avery F. Browne, D.O. is the Medical Director of our AFC Urgent Care Centers in Aberdeen, South Plainfield, West Orange, and Cedar Grove, NJ. He is board-certified in Family Medicine and licensed to practice in New Jersey and New York. Prior to joining AFC Urgent Care, Dr. Browne served as an Attending Family Practice Physician at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY; a faculty member of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine; and a house physician at Christ Hospital in Jersey City, NJ. Dr. Browne has extensive prior experience working in urgent care centers. He currently serves as a team physician for all athletic programs at William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ; a ringside physician for USA Boxing and NY/NJ State Professional Boxing; and is a member of the NJ and NY State Athletic Commissions. Dr. Browne completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the Overlook Hospital in Summit NJ. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey’s School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford NJ where he served as Chief Resident at Barnert Hospital. Dr. Browne holds a D.O. degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, prior to which he studied biological sciences at Rutgers University and obtained a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
Dr. Izhar Hasan, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Izhar Hasan is a staff physician at AFC Urgent Care in Aberdeen and South Plainfield, NJ. Dr. Hasan is board-certified in family medicine and has numerous years of clinical experience treating patients of all ages at several urgent care centers in New Jersey. He has most recently served as the Medical Director of an urgent care center owned by one of the nation’s largest private operators. Dr. Hasan is also an attending physician at Clara Mass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ. He completed his residency training at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ; prior to which he completed three years of training as a surgical resident as well as a postdoctoral research fellowship at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. He holds a Medical Degree from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan and recently earned a PhD in Medical Informatics from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ.
Dr. David Yorio D.O.
Dr. Yorio is a staff physician at our AFC Urgent Care Centers in Aberdeen, Cedar Grove, South Plainfield, and West Orange. He is board certified in family medicine. Dr. Yorio has extensive urgent care experience and has worked as a family medicine physician for health systems such as Atlanticare Regional Health Care and Cooper Hospital. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Yorio holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Rowan University. He also has a Masters in Biochemistry and a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry.
Dr. Bulland Zaman, M.D.
Dr. Zaman is a staff physician at our AFC Urgent Care Centers in Aberdeen, Cedar Grove, South Plainfield, and West Orange. He is board certified in family medicine. Dr. Zaman has extensive urgent care and hospitalist experience working as a family medicine physician seeing patients of all ages at a variety of health systems including urgent care centers, private practices, and large hospitals. Dr. Zaman completed his Family Medicine residency at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. He holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the American University of Integrative Sciences and a Bachelor’s Degree from Rutgers University.
Dr. Bunmi Ifabiyi, M.D.
Dr. Bunmi Ifabiyi is a staff physician at our AFC Urgent Care Centers in Aberdeen and South Plainfield. She is board-certified in family-medicine and treats patients of all age ranges. Dr. Ifabiyi has over 12 years of experience practicing medicine in urgent care and occupational medicine settings. She currently also works as a Deputy Medical Director for a public transit authority and has previously served as the center Medical Director for a large national urgent care company where she treated urgent care and occupational medicine patients. Dr. Ifabiyi completed her residency at St. Vincent Catholic Medical Center (SVCMC) in New York City and holds a Medical Doctorate degree from O.A. University College of Medicine in Nigeria. Dr. Ifabiyi is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, and the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
Dr. Suma Mannava M.D.
Dr. Mannava is a staff physician who sees patients of all ages at our AFC Urgent Care Centers in Aberdeen and South Plainfield. Dr. Mannava is board certified in internal medicine. She has previously worked as a Medical Director at a primary care practice affiliated with Rutgers University. Dr. Mannava also has extensive urgent care and occupational medical experience. Her residency was completed at Mount Sinai Medical Center and she received her Medical Doctor degree at Andhra Medical College.
